I am a media reporter at The Wall Street Journal in New York. I've written about a range of high-profile companies including Disney, ESPN, Fox, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, The New York Times, Vox Media and YouTube. I regularly write stories about sports media, streaming and cable TV.
Before, I was the David Carr fellow in business reporting at The New York Times. At the Times, I covered breaking business and economics news on topics ranging from media to personal finance. Over the course of my fellowship, I wrote half a dozen stories for the front page of the Times. Previously, I was a media reporter for The New York Observer where I launched a newsletter called The Creators on the business of being a content creator and interviewed celebrities and influencers including Paris Hilton.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021 with a B.A. in English and a minor in journalistic writing. At Penn, I was the President of the University's award-winning independent student newspaper The Daily Pennsylvanian where I was in charge of both the business and editorial operations of the paper. In my senior year, I won the Nora Magid Mentorship Prize for the best student journalist.
When I am not writing, I enjoy reading novels, trying new seltzer flavors, seeing plays and musicals, surfing, skiing, and spending time with my cats. I am a lifelong New Yorker.
